Don Bolton's 1941 Stearman
There are, perhaps, less than a handful of airplanes ever built that are so recognizable that you will rarely find a person that can't name it by sight (whether or not they know anything about aviation). Let's see... the 747, the Concorde, the Wright Flyer, and of course, the Stearman. The vast majority of WWII pilots were trained in the Stearman, so it's not a stretch to say that the world owes a large slice of its freedom to this airplane. Gemini F/O Don Bolton owns and proudly flys this beautiful example.... and we are all envious!
